What is a Polystone Matrox Flow Promotion Liner?

A Polystone Matrox Flow Promotion Liner is used in hoppers, chutes, trucks as well as other plants that are dealing with bulk solid materials handling. They aim to minimise bulk solid material buildup, reduce friction, and optimize the flow of materials, ultimately improving productivity and eliminating the risk of blockages or inefficiencies in the processing or transportation of bulk solid materials. MATERIAL SELECTION CONSIDERATIONS

Generally, the most common material grade of Polystone Matrox used for Flow Promotion Linings is Polystone Matrox Classic, which is design for the majority of mining and resource related bulk solid material handling applications, that has been formulated to maximise its release properties (better that standard UHMWPE), but in some cases there are unique requirements that need to be accommodated

Temperature

For higher temperature application Polystone Matrox U110 has been specifically formulated to increase the heat stability and resistance is heat aging.

Course-grained solids

For bulk solid materials that have sharp edges create extreme demands on the lining material, thus the development of Polystone Matrox X. This premium product has the highest hardness and resistance wear of all the Matrox grades.

Food Contact

Polystone Matrox FC complies with food contact standards, and therefore is suitable for direct food contact.

Anti-Static

For bulk solids that may be susceptible to exploring, and anti-static material is often required to comply, as well as environments were static build can affect the flow of bulk solids, Polystone Matrox EX60 can be utilized.

FRAS

For underground coal mining where FRAS materials are required to meet MDG 3608, Polystone Flametech AST is certified as complying with the standards.
